If you want to make a difference, share you skills and strengths, and work in a caring environment, come join the Promising Futures, Inc. team as an Overnight + Alternating Weekends Residential DSP! We have one position available in El Cajon and one position available in Ramona.
This is a full-time hands-on position providing direct training, development, and caregiving to adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include active engagement, program implementation, scheduling outings in the community and special occasions in the home, documentation, behavior modification (no level 4 behaviors), safety crisis response, and protecting residents rights, safety, health, and welfare. Each of our beautiful homes have 4-5 established residents who will welcome you in as a part of their family!
Plus, this position comes with plenty of overtime built in!
During overnight shifts, you'll ensure the safety and well-being of our clients. Additional tasks include household chores and communicating important information to the appropriate staff members.
We believe in investing in our team members, which is why we require 40 hours of training to be completed during regular hours. This training will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in your role.
