We are seeking a Residential Group Home Office Specialist (Office Specialist 2) to join our Stabilization and Crisis Unit dedicated and compassionate team.
Salary Note: The salary range for this position will be adjusted on April 1, 2024, which will impact the minimum salary for this classification. The new salary range on April 1, 2024, will be $3,277 - $4,443 monthly.

What you need to qualify
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
OR
An associate or higher-level degree in any field.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential attributes
We are looking for candidates with:
Experience using proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and sentence structure.
Experience using computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendaring, etc. for documenting, communicating, and tracking information and for scheduling and managing appointments, meetings, resources, etc.

Your duties at a glance
The
Stabilization and Crisis Unit
(SACU) operates 20
Residential Group Homes along the I-5 corridor from Portland to Eugene and provides 24-hour residential care and supervision to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, often with co-occurring mental health diagnoses, whose support needs exceed the supports offered or provided by other community-based residential programs. We provide training and support for the purpose of assisting individuals in safely transitioning back to their home community. We model positive attitudes while offering health and medical supports, psychological services, emotional and behavioral support, life skills training, educational supports, recreational opportunities, and community integration. We are dedicated to providing the support necessary to maintain the quality of life, achieve the highest possible level of independence and promote social opportunities, which benefit the individuals and the community.
As a Residential Group Home Office Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment where you will provide a variety of clerical support tasks for our Residential Group Homes.
This includes:

Additional requirements
The Oregon Department of Human Services does not offer visa sponsorship. Within three days of hire, you will be required to complete the US Department of Homeland Security’s I-9 form confirming authorization to work in the United States. ODHS will use E-Verify to confirm that you are authorized to work in the United States.
Your driving record must meet the qualifications of the DHS SACU Driving Policy and will be considered unacceptable for offenses, including, but not limited to any misdemeanor or felony traffic offense in the last 24 months.
Oregon Intervention System Certification (OIS) - Requiring you to physically hold an individual for safety while maintaining an approved restraint on clients which may involve quick movements, changes in physical positioning, and verbal communication with coworkers.
