The Group Home Director is responsible for the day-to-day function of the residence. This role assumes responsibility for the residents and supervises the direct care staff.
The Group Home director is accountable for the smooth operation of the facility, upholding the agency's philosophy and values. Provides oversight to the direct care staff to ensure prior supervision and guidance to the youth in the agency's care, to support the residents' safety and development.
The Director ensures the provision of high-quality services, including the collaboration of care with external providers and families. Responsible for assisting the CEO in managing the ordering and budget for the residence needs.
Ability to work effectively with clients, families, staff, and community contacts from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

- Initiate, develop, and implement innovative, best-practice programming consistent with progressive residential care guidelines.
- Continuously monitors, evaluates, and enhances services to ensure the delivery is person-centered, supportive, and recovery-oriented.
- Provides adequate supervision to direct care staff.
- Develops a weekly menu that adheres to the nutritional guidelines for youth.
- Creates a monthly recreational outing schedule, ensuring appropriate, entertaining activities for the residents to support quality of life and opportunities for community integration.
- Organizes the monthly medical appointment calendar for the youth in the program.
- Meets documentation expectations, and supervisees meet the same expectation.
- Develops individual service plans and ensures delivery in accordance with identified goals.
- Coordinates services with other staff and external providers.
- Serves as a resource person to other staff, service providers, and clients.
- Oversight of the quality of housing services.
- Monitors the residence for safety issues and concerns, addressing them in a timely fashion.
- Oversees the residence to ensure a clean, safe, home-like environment.
- Assists management in auditing food and supplies. Orders food and supplies to ensure the
needs of the residents are met.
- Maintains files and records following all PA 3800 regulations.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
