**More Maitri, Inc. will provide the Colorado state required training for the position listed including: QMAP (Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, and CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) **
Job Description:
Residential Direct Care Staff work with developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals in their home setting teaching residents basic living skills. They assist clients with various appointments and helping with other living skills like doing laundry, cooking, personal hygiene, and personal life goals.
Responsibilities:
· Daily documentation and tracking
· Supervising and observing participants at all times to ensure their safety
· Teaching problem solving, conflict resolution and life skills
· Transporting clients to and from outings, day program, etc…
· Come up with projects, ideas, tasks, etc… to engage with participants
· Be a leader, while allowing room for participants to direct their creative process
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle and current car insurance
· Demonstrated abilities to maintain confidentiality, listen and respond to requests
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Initiative and flexibility
· Strong project/time management and organizational skills
· Detail oriented
· Ability to lift 50lbs
