- Follow JRI Code of Conduct and Ethics policies, and JRI policies on confidentiality, including confidentiality of records.
- Implement all crisis intervention techniques as you were trained following the BCC protocols. Report any violations of these protocols to a program administrator.
- Support and follow all Treatment Team decisions
- Provide supervision, training, and assistance to counselors in completing residential assessments and interventions with students.
- Assist student with following the daily program schedule, including meals, recreations, housekeeping, chores, and ADLs, and more as listed in full job description.

- Minimum of 21 years old.
- Four-year college or university degree preferred, with major course work in human services, psychology, social work, or sociology; OR a combination of a High School Diploma and experience. Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications. Ability to independently plan and organize one’s own schedule and activities to successfully complete all required tasks.
- Mental health program experience with adolescents preferred. Knowledge of basic Microsoft computer systems and internet preferred.
- Acceptable driving record check, Nationwide Alpha background check, State of CT criminal background, and DCF background check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
- Ability to be certified in BCC.
- A valid driver’s license in state of residency and approval to drive from JRI insurance to drive for JRI business.
- Ability to be certified in American Red Cross CPR/First Aid.

- Eligibility for certification in Medication Administration for DCF and/or DDS
- Availability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the staffing needs of the program in the event of staffing shortage. Ability to meet the requirements of the mandated staff policy if the need arises.
