Residential Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities will include overseeing all assigned projects, ensuring the work is being completed per project scope, within code compliance, production is cost effective, within budget and performance measures. Communicate and ensure all company policies and procedures are understood and followed by on-site crew.

Leadership, creativity, relationship management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to wear multiple hats will be critical for this position as the company continues to evolve. You will be part of a small and collaborative team focused on building a quality product, while ensuring that budgets and timelines are met. Requirements:

· Construction: 5 Years (Required)

· Management: 2 Years (Required)

· Basic understanding of Residential Construction best practices

· Blueprint reading and take offs

· Knowledge of MS Office Suite

· Proficiency with Builder Trend or other construction management software is a plus but not required

· Highly organized with understanding of construction management processes.

· Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills

· Have a genuine desire to be a team player and able to work both collaboratively and independently

· Must be able to handle pressure, meet deadlines and learn from mistakes - Be Teachable

· Provide strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Take appropriate initiatives, be proactive, motivated and dependable.

· Valid Driver’s License

Project Manager Job Responsibilities Include:

· Oversee Construction Projects from beginning to end

· Manage the budget and estimate costs

· Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule

· Supervise permitting and coordinate with various governing agencies and inspectors.

· Work together with coworkers as a Team

· Maintain frequent communication with other team members to ensure quality standards, budgets, and timelines are met

· Obtain proposals from subcontractors for all phases of work based on project scope of work

· Manage, supervise, and quality check the activities of on-site crew and subcontractors

· Monitor the execution and implementation of the project schedule and provide detail to management and clients on progress of projects

· Prepare reports regarding job status

· Ensure all deadlines are met

· Assist in hiring of contractors and staff including construction laborers

· Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards

· Work with Builder Trend to organize job information and document progress

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
