Resident Monitor Part-Time

Location: Tampa Area Command, Tampa, FL
Position Type: Part-Time
Pay Range: $14.00 - $16.00
About this opportunity:
This position is responsible for Accepts and processes residents into HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) in order for them to stay in lodge/shelter overnight.
Key responsibilities:

• Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance of behavioral expectations.
• Maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information.
• Ensures the lodge/shelter is maintained in a neat proper order.

What we are looking for in you:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. AND
• one year experience performing security or social work preferred OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a lodge/shelter facility where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Work requires performance of duties in social services environments where exposure to communicable and infectious diseases are possible.

We have two part time (29 hours weekly) positions opened at our emergency shelter. One on the 4:00 p.m. – midnight shift and the other opening on the midnight – 8:00 a.m. shift.
