We are providing supplemental engineering services, including project management and construction management, and commissioning oversight to support a large wastewater infrastructure capital improvement program. We are looking for a Resident Engineer to lead construction management teams for successful delivery of complex conveyance construction projects.
As a Resident Engineer, we need you to have ability to manage complex, technical engineering (wastewater/civil/mechanical /electrical/I&C) construction projects, lead construction project teams (Assistant REs, Inspectors, Schedulers, etc.); encourage a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with all departments; including stakeholders; lead project team in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost control, schedule control, change management, risk management, and performance; and identify problems, analyze information and develop sound recommendations. You will act as the project interface for the Owner, working with the Owner's Project Manager, designer, contractor, operations and maintenance, and will assist with project meetings with contractor and stakeholders; and effectively delivering results in a timely manner.
You will develop a trusted relationship with the project team, contractor and with the client's staff. You will place an emphasis on safe construction practices (Beyond Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction. Lead by example and oversee safe practices on site.

- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field from a accredited institution; or current certification as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from CMAA
- 10 years of recent experience in construction management on large and complex infrastructure and conveyance projects
- Fully knowledgeable of QA/QC construction inspection methods, current construction techniques, construction materials, safety protocols, and applicable/related regulations. Specific QA experience in large public infrastructure projects is required.
- Experience in using Primavera P6 Scheduling software and PMIS tool such as PMWeb
- Valid Driver license and good driving record

Typical salary range for this position is $121,300 - $189,450 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
