As a Resident Director, you'll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and supportive living environment for our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Community Development: Foster a sense of belonging and community among residents through programming, events, and initiatives that promote inclusivity, personal growth, and academic success.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance, resources, and referrals to support student's holistic well- being, including academic support, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention as needed. Residential Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations within the residence halls, including enforcement of university policies and procedures.
  • Supervision: Assist in the recruitment, selection and training of Resident Assistants (RAs) and Lead Resident Assistants (LRA)). This position will also supervise 5 - 11 RAs and 1-2 LRAs.
  • Safety and Security: Participate in an on-call rotation to holistically support student wellbeing, and respond to crisis as needed with campus constituents.

This is a full-time live-in position with a starting annual salary up to $42,450 commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or completion of degree by time of appointment
  • Minimum of one-year previous residence hall or student affairs experience.
