Job description

The Dining Aide helps to ensure that residents have the proper assistance and supervision during meals and are being served according to individual needs and preferences and in promotion of a homelike environment. They serve meals to assigned residents in individual rooms, neighborhood solariums or special events as needed.

MMust be 18 years of age or older and in compliance with Inglis’ policies on criminal background checks and PPD testing and successfully complete all training and competency assessments as outlined

  • Possesses good interpersonal and customer service skills and isable to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and a willingness to follow directions and adhere to all organizational policies, safety procedures, and resident care plans.
  • Meets the physical requirements of the job as specified.
  • Must be available to work designated hours that coincide with mealtimes.

the hourly rate for this position is $15.00

The Dining Aide helps to ensure that residents have the proper assistance and supervision during meals and are being served according to individual needs and preferences and in promotion of a homelike environment. They serve meals to assigned residents in individual rooms, neighborhood solariums or special events as needed. The Dining Aide works closely with members of the interdisciplinary team including Dieticians, Dietary Homemakers, Speech and Occupational Therapists, and Nursing staff to ensure that residents receive the appropriate meals based on their individual diet levels. They are responsible for identifying and communicating any issues encountered to their supervisor. They assist with other non-clinical tasks to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of the residents as indicated. The Dining Aide will show readiness to work as a team member and adhere to all policies and procedures. They show a willingness to participate in initial and on-going in-service training. essential job responsibilities will be executed in accordance with Inglis Administrative policies and compliance/ethics guidelines.
