Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time temporary position: Resident Athletic Trainer in the department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Assist with coverage of 19 Division I sports, including FBS football program, maintenance of athletic training room, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Training. Sports covered for these positions will include, but may not be limited to: football, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, track & field, volleyball and women’s lacrosse. A spring sport will be assigned. Duties include, but are not limited to:· Assist with the daily operation of the athletic training department.· Administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Training.· Primary sport assignment as determined by the Director of Athletic Training with other sport coverage as deemed necessary.
Requirements: A master’s degree is required. CPR and First Aid certification is also required. A successful candidate must be NATABOC certified or eligible. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs.
