Resident Assistants perform a variety of duties that play an important role in a resident's life.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Assisting the resident to the dining room for meals, to scheduled activities, to the patio when the weather is nice
- Spending time with a resident to provide them with social interaction and conversation
- Reading a book, playing a game, assisting with a puzzle
Preferred experience/skills/abilities:
- Previous service work with elderly is helpful
- Ability to work in close cooperation with others
- Respectful
- Good communicator
