Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga is growing and seeking a Part-time Residential Assistant to join our Team. This is a female residence.

Specific Duties:
- **Create a welcoming environment.
- **Plan activities and educational workshops for residents.
- **Transport residents.
- **Room checks to ensure cleanliness.
- **Responsible for the documentation, development, and/or implementation of the following: assessments, service plan goals, service plan reviews, hospitalizations, discharge planning, progress notes, and income. Documentation includes both written and data entry as required.
- **Organization
- **Other duties assigned.
Additional Qualifications:
- **Must be available to work evenings and weekends when residents are available.
- **A working knowledge of harm reduction and trauma-informed practices
- **Acceptance of and demonstrated commitment to the Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga values and mission.
- **Adheres to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations including, but not limited to, those governing confidentiality, privacy, program, billing, and documentation standards. All duties must be performed in accordance with CCDR’s corporate compliance and ethics program.
- **Strong interpersonal and communication skills; welcoming and professional manner
- **Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- **Willing and able to communicate with residents on multiple social media platforms and other forms of communication.
- **Experience working with marginalized, culturally diverse, and homeless populations.
What you will get:
- **Salary: $17.00 - $20.00/hour based on the education and experience of the candidate.
- **Part – time 25 hours weekly Tuesday through Saturday.
Our hiring process and timeline:
- **Applications will be reviewed regularly until the position is filled.
- **Phone screenings will be conducted with qualified candidates.
- **In-person one-hour interviews will be conducted with candidates who advance after the phone screening
- **In-person interviews are typically with 2-4 Interviewers
