Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to residents in a senior living community
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document changes in residents' physical and mental health
- Assist with meal preparation and dining services
- Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Follow all resident rights policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being of residents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations in assisted living and memory care settings
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies
- Understanding of systems and processes in an assisted living community
- First aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
