Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:As part of the Global Consumer Insights team, this role will manage the design and execution of research programs using quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies to address the business needs and identify growth opportunities for the Financial Services and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for customer-centricity who understands the importance of consumer insights and how they can play a strategic role in organizations.
Primary responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders within the Financial Services, Research Ops and other cross-functional teams to design and execute strategic research (qualitative & quantitative) based on consumer needs and growth opportunities.
Gather research requirements, develop briefs, select design methodologies, provide sample recommendations, design questionnaires and conduct research.
Manage external research partners for the execution of primary research using quantitative and/or qualitative studies
Synthesize research findings to provide the Financial Services team with objective, comprehensive consumer insights and actionable recommendations.
Build strong relationships with Financial Services, Research Ops and other cross-functional teams to deliver impact.
Proactively recommend new and innovative market research methodologies, tools, and platforms to address business needs.
Leverage multiple data to answer ad-hoc questions that the Financial Services team and cross-functionals have about the consumer.
Job Requirements
8+ years of research and industry experience
Knowledge of the financial services and fintech sector is desirable.
Proficient in various qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
Ability to design research studies, write questionnaires, develop sampling plans and conduct research programs .
Ability to articulate and translate data/insights into compelling, actionable recommendations.
Detail oriented, can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is not a UX role; it's a strategic Consumer Insights role.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
