Research Technician 3

Oversees research in food microbiology and animal studies. Performs experiments involving foods and animals and conducting metagenomic analyses using various existing platforms. Trains and mentors new and existing students and lab staff in technical lab procedures. Preparation of graphs and reports.

Minimum Education Required

BS in food science

Additional Education Desired

Advanced degree in food science preferred.

Required Qualifications

3 or more years of experience, with advanced knowledge in food microbiology, hands-on experience in animal studies, and demonstrated experience and success in using existing platforms and tools for metagenomic assessments. As specialist or lead, will train, advise, assign work or review work in the team.
