APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develops, optimizes, and validates test procedures to enable system qualification. Operates, interprets, and analyzes data from a variety of spectroscopic instrumentation (e.g., UV/Vis, fluorescence, near- and mid-infrared systems based on FTIR, ATR, or Raman spectroscopy). Operates, interprets, and analyzes data from imaging instrumentation (OCT and Ultrasound). Performs multivariate analysis of spectroscopic and/or other multivariate datasets for quantitative estimation of important parameters from data (Matlab and Python). Performs extensive data collection using a variety of bench top analytical instrumentation (chemistry analyzers, spectrophotometers, pH meters). Designs, analyzes, and reports on studies conducted with experimental platforms and associated instrumentation. Works with a team of scientists to conduct, analyze, and interpret simulations of optical systems. Assists in the characterization and qualification of measurement systems for integration into study data collection workflow. Remains current with relevant scientific and professional literature and activities in leading academic labor. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300 - $199,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
