Position Summary
This individual will support the operations of the Tissue Analysis Core (TAC) facility, an integral part of the COBRE-funded Center for Cardiovascular Research in Biomechanics (CRiB). Key responsibilities include operating TAC equipment, including additive manufacturing equipment, μCT, microscopes, ultrasound imaging, and vapor and gas permeability testers. They will also be responsible for maintaining and updating protocols for tissue evaluation and training TAC users. Additionally, the role involves assisting with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and prototyping of devices, liaising with the biomedical device industry, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating schedules with other cores, analyzing data, preparing reports for TAC clients, and undertaking other tasks as directed by the TAC and CRiB Directors.
