Responsibilities for this position would include tasks such as:
75% - performing data entry and data management tasks through Excel, including meeting quality assurance standards of data entered;
10% - preparing documents and other materials used in research activities to support individuals with disabilities;
10% - organizing project information and files;
5% - completing other duties as requested (e.g., photocopying, scanning, graphic design, etc.).
All research activities require strict maintenance of study participant confidentiality in accordance will all KU policies and procedures.Required Qualifications
- KU undergraduate student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours each semester per academic year.
- 1 year of proficiency with Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel and Outlook as evidenced in application materials.
- Strong oral and written communication skills as evidenced in application materials and interview.
- Strong attention to detail as evidenced in application materials.
- During the semester term of the appointment, the Student Hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the Student Hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
- Strong experience with data entry, data management, or data reporting tasks using Excel, or similar software.
- Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI) Certified for Social/Behavioral modules.
- Passion for working with community organizations to support people with disabilities and their families.
