Form of workThe Research Assistant Iperforms a range of experiments and data analysis under the direction of Core Research Manager and Director. May be required to perform experiments during certain weekend days or after hours. Assists with organization, maintenance and operations in the core including ordering and receiving laboratory reagents, invoicing and billing customers in iLabs. Maintains both handwritten and computerized records of work performed. Interfaces with core customers for sample analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Perform a range of wet bench experiments and data analysis under the direction of Core Research Manager and Director.
2. Data analysis and the production of written reports, participation in team meetings at which the work will be discussed and planned.
3. Interaction with customer laboratories for sample pickup, processing, analysis, accurate data reporting and troubleshooting.
4. Organization, maintenance and operations in the core including ordering and receiving laboratory reagents, invoicing and billing customers in iLabs.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree required
Some experience in a research setting required
