Assist researchers in lab setting.
Duties & Responsibilities- Make solutions accurately and consistently (including calculations)
- Handle all equipment safely
- Maintain multiple types of cells in culture using sterile technique
- Maintain a complete and detailed research notebook
- Utilize basic software and analysis platforms (i.e. Office, Photoshop, etc.)
- Generate nanomaterials for characterization and testing
- Must be able to work constructively in a diverse laboratory team environment and be willing to communicate their research results in informal and formal settings.
- The individual will be required to complete appropriate lab safety training in compliance with the UND Office of Safety guidelines and state and federal regulations.
- The individual will be required to maintain safe and ethical research practice while on the job.
- Has completed the majority of the core Biology courses with good academic standing.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree with a major or a minor in Biology or Chemistry is preferred.
- Experience with microscopy/imaging is preferred.
