Position Information
This is a part-time or temporary non-benefited position.
Position Description:
The Department of Plant Pathology at North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND has an opening for a Research Assistant to conduct applied and molecular research on diseases of oilseed crops under the direction of Dr. Febina Mathew. The individual will 1) Lead and/or assist PI with ongoing research projects in broadleaf and oilseed crops; and 2) Maintain an inventory of organism isolates in long-term storage, lab, greenhouse, and field supplies, seeds, and other resources in the program. Minimum Qualifications:
M.S. in plant pathology, agronomy, or closely related field; A driving license or will be required to have it within a month or two of joining the lab; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
