Job Description
Summary: The primary responsibility of assessing and repairing issues with various flooring installations (tile, wood, carpet, vinyl, etc.) on residential home job sites during construction. This person will work independently on customer service-related issues based on daily schedule.
Essential functions
Responsible for repairs and troubleshooting, including maintenance, and documentation
- Perform various minor to medium flooring repairs to assist in closing new construction homes.
- Perform minor to medium flooring repairs in post-settlement homes, for warranty purposes.
- Maintains accurate documentation on all work performed.
- Completes repairs as needed or involves others as needed.
- Orders replacement materials for the repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience as a flooring installer (tile, wood, vinyl and/or carpet)
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
