Patriot Pool and Spa Austin is training new Repair Techs! We are committed to developing talent in the Swimming Pool Industry and giving our people the opportunity to develop in our trade! We continue to grow our footprint in Austin, TX and surrounding suburbs. To prepare for the upcoming season, we are adding to our Repair Team.
**No pool experience or repair experience necessary. Experience as a Pool Service Technician is a plus, but not a requirement.**

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1+ years experience in a relatable trade or mechanically-focused role
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report
- Must have valid driver’s license, 3 years verifiable driving history and clean driving record
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude and ability to develop a strong knowledge in swimming pool operation systems. Candidate should be self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently with little oversight; possess a willingness to communicate and share knowledge and insight with customers in a tactful, respectful manner while presenting a professional image. You must be dedicated to meeting deadlines, possess strong customer service skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills, as well as effective organizational skills.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:
As a Repair Technician your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Promote Company values and customer care
- Have a great working knowledge of pool chemistry and equipment functionality and the ability to explain it to the client
- Ability to troubleshoot repairs
- Have a working knowledge of pool plumbing and electrical wiring for pool/spa heaters and heat/cool pumps
- Complete daily records of worked performed
- Install and repair pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems
- Manage daily schedules with repair staff to ensure efficiency
- Work with office staff to ensure high degree of accuracy with regards to accounting and billing
- Improve processes and come up with innovative ideas to help us grow to the next level
- Explain needs to customers and get approval for any repairs needed
- Perform all duties with a customer and safety-first mindset
- Manage customer care issues and complaints
- Present yourself in a profe^ssional manner always

Compensation – $47-50k beginning base salary. Opportunities for extra jobs for additional compensation are available above a base salary. This position is paid weekly. You will be provided paid on-the-job training and all the tools to be successful. Starting pay will depend on experience.
