The position is responsible generally for the processing of corporate actions and income events including Splits, Spin-offs, Mergers, Rights distributions. Products supported included equity and fixed income securities settling at DTCC, Euroclear Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for corporate actions processing including interpreting events, electing at the depository and allocation of stock and cash payment Process income events such as Dividends and coupon payments Scrubbing of corporate action event data Assist with proxy and class action related functions Review, research, and resolve correspondent/customer complaints escalated from other departments Analyze current procedures and implements enhancements to continuously improve efficiency and productivity Perform other duties as required and assigned Experience and Skills Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required Minimum 1-year of experience in financial services operations Must have corporate actions experience Advanced knowledge and understanding of the abandoned property rules and regulations Experience with FIS Phase 3, BETA, DTC PBS/PTS a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency Strong collaboration and team building skills Able to maintain a high degree of accuracy a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Able to work independently as well as within a team and prioritize daily work flow with little direction Customer service orientated with strong interpersonal skills What We Offer What Wedbush Offers You As part of the overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities (WS) offers an array of diverse benefits to our Colleagues. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $60,000-$75,000.
