Team member will work closely with lead engineers and clients on the PV Solar and BESS portion of projects to:

  • Manage the scope of services, including preparing conceptual designs, project deliverables, construction administration, and project closeout
  • Work in collaboration with Clients and Owners to develop project scope and goals
  • Select and specify the appropriate equipment (PV modules, inverters, DAS)
  • Locate and lay out that equipment for the specific job site
  • Configure the system DC and AC one-line diagram to the point of connection in coordination with the electrical engineer
  • Provide all related calculations
  • Provide necessary PV specific details
  • Manage the Interconnection Application (IA) process with the serving utility company
  • Ensure all projects are compliant with industry standards and regulations
  • Coordinate technical aspects of the design with the structural, civil, electrical, technology, and architectural teams
  • Conduct site inspections and project progress meetings regularly
  • Coordinate on project proposals and RFP development
  • Adhere to project budget and schedule requirements
  • Exceed client expectations

Minimum Requirements:

  • Five (+5) years of project management experience in the design of PV solar and BESS systems
  • Ability to lead and coordinate a team to complete project deliverables while exceeding client expectations
  • Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Revit BIM software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Etc.)
  • Strong desire to work with team members and maintain client relationships
  • Demonstrated previous success with project design from inception to completion
  • Fieldwork will be expected and require interaction with client personnel

Preferred:

  • Ability to perform financial and technical energy feasibility studies
  • Energy modeling and data analysis for evaluating energy efficient measures
  • Experience with commissioning
  • Interest in developing the firm’s sustainable marketability
  • Participate in efforts to support an innovative and forward-thinking work environment

Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 / yr
