We are seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our innovative team on a full-time basis. This remote role is designed for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional education services to students with diverse needs, all from the comfort of your home.
Position Overview:
- Location: Illinois (Remote/Work from Home)
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Full-time
- Contract Type: 1099 Contractor
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
Key Requirements:
- Must possess a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an Illinois Special Education endorsement.
- At least 2 years of experience in school settings is preferred. Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply for a clinical interview assessment.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in using educational technology and platforms.
- Upon offer, candidates must secure professional liability insurance.
- Bilingual candidates are highly valued, although not mandatory.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual setting.

Interview Process:
- Initial Screening: A brief 5-minute call with our recruitment specialist for preliminary screening.
- Director Interview: Candidates who pass the initial screening will have an interview with school directors to discuss qualifications, experience, and fit for the role.
- Offer: Successful candidates will receive a potential offer to join our team.
