Job Description
The PMO is developing a knowledge repository for all PMO processes and procedures. The contracted resource will work across the organization with identified SMEs to gather, capture, and deliver documentation in a concise manner using multiple tools, as needed.
Skills
• Proven working experience in technical writing and documentation
• Ability to document processes through visio (visual depiction) and text
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the organization to gather information for documentation
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Excellent written skills in English
Responsibilities:
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation that explains complex technical information in an understandable manner.
• Ability to take data from disjointed sources as well as input from SME's to create new documentation.
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Ability to work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the current processes and workflows
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Meet set deadlines to deliver documents
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience with IT documentation creation
Working across the organization to gather information and produce documentation
Ability to produce documentation for general and technical audiences
Expert with Visio, PowerPoint and Visual aids
Education
Bachelor's degree
