Summary Statement: The Remote Seasonal Park Maintenance position will be required to live and work independently as well as assisting maintenance staff with all aspects of maintaining the park grounds and its facilities. This will include, but not be limited to, picking up and removing trash, cleaning restrooms, the cleaning and repair of structures, hiking/biking trail maintenance, painting, fixing/replacing fence and participation in projects involving carpentry, and plumbing work. Employees will be required to work outside in all weather conditions.

Essential Functions:

• Performs grounds maintenance tasks such as trimming, trail maintenance, landscape bed maintenance, trash removal, vegetation removal, tree removal and slash cleanup.
• Performs custodial services in restrooms.
• Operation of landscaping equipment and use of hand and power tools.
• Set-up, monitoring and clean-up support for park programs and special events.
• Maintains good public relations with park visitors and staff.
• Provides excellent customer service and park information to visitors.
• Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
