Position Purpose:

The Senior Associate, Proposal Content reports to the Manager RFP PMO and is responsible for the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP and RFI responses, or other documentation describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospects or customers. This team member will be responsible for ensuring high quality responses by proofreading and copyediting RFP and RFI responses and writing proposals. This team member will also support the Manager RFP PMO with day-to-day program management activities.

The Senior Associate, Proposal Content is responsible for developing an accurate content database of standard / common responses to RFPs through leveraging prior experience with latest content and messaging trends. This team member will also ensure that standard responses and distribution channels are consistent with current industry standards while correctly capturing the complexities and regulatory requirements of the industry. This is not a social media position. This can be a 100% remote work from home position.

Key Job Activities:

• Own the creation and ongoing maintenance of proposal templates, which will be used as the consistent baseline for all proposals produced by Stericycle. Templates will include an executive summary, overview of the company, details on our customized solutions, and pricing information.
• Lead proposal writing efforts, including taking ownership of content creation for specific sections of the document and supporting content refinement in sections owned by others. Content must clearly articulate our value proposition in a way that resonates with the buyer and addresses their needs.
• Proofread materials for accuracy, correct use of grammar, punctuation, and content. Ensures all documents and materials meet established content standards.
• Support collection of RFP and RFI questionnaire responses.
• Ensures successful RFP/RFI program management through support with day-to-day meetings and tracking deadlines
• Maintain self-serve materials for RFP response, including standard responses, tools, and templates.
• Maintain content library tool within an RFP management tool (e.g., refreshing responses, cleaning up answers that are out of date, flagging popular ones, etc.).
• Comfortable working under limited oversight while handling large volume of RFP/RFI activity with varying degrees of complexity.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Education:

Preferred Education: in Bachelor`s Degree

Experience :

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in in marketing, journalism, or communications discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in a content development or management role, preferably in a B2B services environment within a complex and highly-regulated industry.
• Experience in writing and editing proposals and RFP and RFI responses in alignment with business objectives and key messages.

Licenses and Required Competencies

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Sharepoint.
• Strong attention to quality, detail, and timelines.
• Strong business writing skills.
• Proven track record as a collaborator and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment.
• Strong knowledge RFP management tool (e.g., Qvidian) is preferred.
• Strong time and project management skills.
