One Transcription Services is looking for Independent Contractor typists for general transcription (law enforcement, research, and corporate). If you are looking for regular ongoing work in the comfort of your own home, at the schedule you decide, you have found it.

Details:

• MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. We do not send work outside of the country!
• Must have above-average listening, grammatical, and typing skills.
• Transcription experience required.
• Transcribers to provide own equipment.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet.
• For security and privacy reasons, your computer must be dedicated solely to your work and must be a Windows-based PC with valid installations of Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional. Windows 7 and older operating systems are not accepted.
• Valid copy of Microsoft Office 2010 or newer. We prefer Office 365.
• Clean criminal background required going back the last ten years. One Transcription Services pays for all clean background checks.
• Short typing test required.

Job Description:

• Independent Contractor position.
• Transcribe a variety of reports, i.e., focus groups, witness interviews, interrogations, confessions, 911 calls, jail calls, research studies, and academic transcription while maintaining 98% accuracy.
• Minimum line rate .08 cents per 65 characters with spaces.
• Direct deposit every other Friday.
• Work includes general/law enforcement/research/corporate transcription.
