We are currently seeking a talented and credentialed psychiatrist to join our team, specifically focusing on Federal Workers Compensation psychology cases. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space while making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in need. We currently serve over 5,000 monthly patients with OUD by providing Suboxone doctors, 100% online. We were the first company to offer this, pre pandemic, and are proud of the work we have done.
Position Overview:
As a Remote Federal Workers Compensation Psychiatrist at Tara Heatlhcare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric evaluation and treatment services to individuals covered under Federal Workers Compensation plans. You will play a crucial role in assessing mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Psychiatric Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess the mental health of individuals covered under Federal Workers Compensation plans.
- Treatment Planning: Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client, taking into consideration their diagnosis, history, and goals.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and manage appropriate psychotropic medications when indicated, in accordance with established guidelines and best practices.
- Therapeutic Support: Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to promote mental wellness and recovery.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, nurses, case managers, and claims adjusters, to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, treatment notes, and progress reports in compliance with Federal Workers Compensation program requirements.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with Federal Workers Compensation program regulations and guidelines to ensure proper credentialing and billing practices.
- Continuing Education: Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatry and related fields.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state medical license.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Credentialed with Federal Workers Compensation plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in telemedicine or remote healthcare services is a plus.
