The primary responsibilities of this position involve the monitoring, analysis, and review of documentation related to commercial and Medicaid services to ensure services are in compliance with all regulatory bodies and Company policies and procedures. This position performs as a member of an integrated management team and must also coordinate with other community agencies and resources. Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing training supporting documents and participating in training presentations and initiatives as assigned in the areas of compliance.
This is a remote role. Candidates must be located in North Carolina, Maryland or Arizona and able to work EST. Core hours M-F 8:30a-5:00p EST.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience in ABA
- BCBA and LBA
- Minimum One year of relevant job-related experience and experience writing clinical documentation.
- Experience working in Electronic Health Records, preference given to those with Central Reach experience.
- Working knowledge of HMO’s, PPO’s, Medicare, Managed Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
- Working knowledge of HIPPA.
- Experience in developing and providing staff training on relevant topics.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Consistently assess and evaluate service provision and medical records against agency policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain companywide Quality Assurance plan.
- Document approach and methodology for identifying client records for review.
- Perform regular client record reviews to ensure that all documents are in compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and clinical quality standards.
- Providing direct guidance to staff, identify company trends, and implement proactive and creative solutions in areas that require attention.
- Provide thorough and timely audits summaries to staff and supervisors.
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA and other applicable company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits and support operations to prepare for audits and credentialing reviews.
- Identify and address opportunities for quality improvement in all aspects of serving our customers.
- Participate in staff training to support employee development and performance and ensure quality service provision.
- Assist in planning and implementation of systems changes and procedures to achieve overall organizational objectives.
- Verify implementation of effective strategies for improvement designed to measure and improve outcome measures.
- Monitor quality improvement goals and track outcomes and measurements.
- Assist COO in maintenance of agency policy and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assist COO in monitoring for compliance of all programs and staff in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and performs special projects as required.
