Director, Quality Assurance (Software QA and Automation) ERP Software
Location: Remote if you live in the following states: FL, GA, TX, TN, VA, NC, CO, HI
Eligible candidates must be a US Citizen, or Green Card/EAD
We are seeking a highly driven and effective professional to lead and evolve its global Quality Assurance discipline. As the Director of Quality Assurance, you will leverage your expertise, experience and passion to create and foster a high performing team that delivers quality and excellence in QA test and Automation in an ERP Software or ERP SaaS environment.
- Plan and establish annual operational goals, objectives, and strategies to improve Quality Assurance delivery excellence
- Responsible for establishing, documenting and training on methodology/best practices in alignment with the Release methodologies and processes
- Define the SDLC delivery methodology for Quality Assurance, including oversight and enforcement of SDLC compliance on all project initiatives to ensure successful delivery
- Implement, evolve and enforce group processes, procedures, and standards in order to drive and guide the repeatable, reliable delivery of high-quality software products and services
- Talent Management – solid expertise and knowledge in resource management and staff performance management
- Direct reporting line responsibility for supervising, monitoring, coaching, growing, disciplining and appraising individual performance
- Responsible for the quality of services provided by the team
- Provide hands on technical oversight on project initiatives as appropriate to promote, influence, and guide delivery excellence
Education, prior work experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in technology related area (MBA helpful, but not required).
- 10 or more years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years of demonstrated relevant managerial experience leading Quality Assurance teams with 10 or more team members.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience leading a highly technical, automation-oriented Quality Assurance team.
- 5 or more years of recent experience delivering Quality Assurance for enterprise caliber software in an Agile delivery model.
- 5 or more years of experience with formal SDLC methodologies, practices, and procedures
