Join a team that puts its People First! As a member of First American's family of companies, National Commercial Services provides single-point service for simple to multi-property/multi-state national commercial real estate transactions. Since 1889, First American (NYSE: FAF) has held an unwavering belief in its people. What We Do

First American is reinventing the commercial title industry from within. We’re looking for a unique, ambitious individual who wants to join an early-stage, high-growth operation within a larger, Fortune 500 organization. You will initially be rolling up your sleeves to help drive the development of a new, end-to-end title operations process while collaboratively identifying product and technical opportunities to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency of our new process. Then you will lead the charge for testing and iterating on these processes while closing commercial, national title transactions.

As an Escrow Officer, you will:

  • Drive commercial real estate transactions from open to post-closing.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, transaction management, and other team members to deliver superior customer service.
  • Be the “go to” person for day-to-day escrow matters on every real estate transaction that comes through our group.
  • Work on a remote team using technology and virtual communication.
  • Use data to drive decision making and continual process improvements.

Core traits we’re looking for:

  • Seeks to execute.
  • Works independently, while routinely checking in with the team.
  • Works effectively in ambiguous circumstances, seeking clarity through asking questions.
  • Possesses willingness to try a solution rather than assuming.
  • Operates with a process-oriented mind.

Your qualifications:

  • Has run and closed commercial real estate deals from start to finish.
  • Regional or national commercial title experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • History of delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years relevant experience required.
  • Has a successful history of managing and serving customers.

Why Join Our Team:

  • You’ll join the ground floor of a transformative business where you can make an impact.
  • You’ll be entrusted with responsibility and autonomy in your day-to-day work.
  • We offer competitive compensation; an annual, performance-based bonus; and long-term incentive plans.
  • Customizable benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Match.
  • Virtual and in-person team events.

**This is a fully remote job**

Pay Range: $66,980 – $130,020 annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
