National General Insurance is recruiting for a Remote Claims Auditor. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in estimating claims, with an additional focus on RV/Total Loss. Key responsibilities for this role involve conducting assessments of claim files and providing corrective recommendations concerning adjuster management of damages.
Under limited supervision, the Claims Auditor is responsible for evaluating the quality and accuracy of property estimates and file reviews on work completed by property adjusters. The individual reviews and makes corrective recommendations on adjuster handling of damages and vendor-involved claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs oversight to ensure adherence to current estimating and file handling standards
- Performs claim reviews including targeted and transactional reviews
- Completes desk reviews on estimates, compares to current estimating standards and provides feedback based on review
- May provide information on reinspection results to ensure vendors/contractors are following Allstate specific guidelines and procedures
- Collaborates with field leadership regarding file review results
- Participates in calibration activities with the Claims organization

- Applies broad conflict management and problem resolution skills in managing internal and external customer relationships
- Ability to investigate, evaluate, and settle complex claims

The base range offered for the role is: $59,250 - $85,000 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors.
