Ignite Consults is actively seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a Six-Month temp-to-hire opportunity. This role, which is fully remote but exclusive to Dallas residents, focuses on analyzing Business Systems, processes, and technology. As a key contributor, you'll strategically design and map business user stories to system/technical requirements, while also documenting process maps and writing technical specifications for new solutions, including custom development and system integrations.
Throughout all phases of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC), your collaboration with IT staff and leadership will be vital. Your role includes providing essential documentation deliverables and addressing complex application and system issues. You will troubleshoot and resolve varying complex application and system issues and partner with County departments, internal IT teams, and external vendors to uphold consistent operational efficiency and performance.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
· Provide moderate to advanced complexity technical support for system users to include problem qualification, fault isolation, problem determination and resolution of system and advanced applications issues and answers; evaluate and prioritize client technical inquiries and problems.
· Maintain assigned incidents, requests and changes in activity tracking systems.
· Testing and validation of software fixes and new software versions/releases. Perform quality assurance review of deliverables for both internal and external delivery.
· Manage and administer complex application security rights through user rights, roles and access.
· Define and document customer business functions and processes.
· Serve as a project technical resource. Update project plan schedules and sprints. Create project documentation deliverables. Complete assigned project tasks. Participate in stakeholder meetings as needed.
· Provides best practice recommendations for software and process solutions.
· Determine training needs, develop curriculums and host training sessions.
· Assist in developing training curriculums and conducting technical training sessions. Assist in creating end user application training documents.
· Participate in gathering and documenting user requirements.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or in a job-related field of study.
· Two (2) years of work-related experience in broad-based systems and/or application technical support experience required.
· Skilled in the use of standard software applications (MS Windows, MS Office, etc.). Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public in traditional and virtual settings.
· Work and communicate with a wide range of people - peers, vendors, staff members, broader functional and business leadership, and others.
