Summary: The Business Process Analystis responsible for the definition, analysis and documentation of business objectives and requirements to support the Shared Services Centers to expand and sustain the development and implementation of a wide variety of automations and applications. This position will serve as the subject matter expert for insight on solution functionality, enhancements, technical specifications, testing and validation while ensuring the viability of sustainable Revenue Cycle improvement solutions that transcend stakeholder’s expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (List in order of importance or percentage of time spent on the particular responsibility. High to Low)
- Analyze and document requirement specifications, user stories, test cases and other supporting documentation to execute standard product development processes while bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the development team. (40%)
- Assist application development team to perform quality control prior to migration of new solutions or enhancements from the test environment to the production environment (25%)
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other business stakeholders to gather requirements and establish business needs and objectives necessary to define requirements for new product features, enhancements and modifications to existing products for a wide variety of CHS initiatives (15%)
- Leverage relationships between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure requirements and solution delivery are seamless by utilizing process flowcharts, visual diagrams and standard product development templates to create a shared understanding and alignment of expectations and end results. (10%)
- Develop and execute testing process to ensure specifications meet solution requirements and are ready for user testing and validation by stakeholders. Work with teams to gather test data and validation efforts to ensure successful delivery through the entire solution life cycle. (5%)
- Maintain current scripting processes and assist in customer training, change management, product releases, product documentation and solution implementations. (5%)
Qualifications:
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Education: BS/BA in a related field or relevant experience
Required Experience: 0-2 years Revenue Cycle Experience.
Preferred Experience: 2-4 years of Revenue Cycle Experience.
Required License/Registration/Certification: None
Preferred License/Registration/Certification: PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP).
Computer Skills Required: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Outlook, GSuite tools
