Job description

We are seeking an energetic, efficient, and detail-oriented Accounting Support Specialist to join our dynamic team, working 100% from home!

As a leading provider of language services, we are committed to bridging language barriers and fostering communication across diverse communities. This role primarily focuses on administrative duties to support our accounting team, as well as client invoicing. To thrive in this role, you will need a strong knack for organization, impeccable attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records, coupled with interpersonal and organizational skills. IMPORTANT NOTES

  • This position is hourly and the hours will flex between 20-40 hours per week depending on business volume.
  • Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5 pm EST. We are open to making schedule accomodations for candidates on the West Coast, however, for the training sessions we would want to find some middle ground to maximize overlap with our NY team.
  • While this role is 100% remote, for legal & tax purposes, you must be located in the US to be considered.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Previous experience (2 years) in a billing position, preferance heavily weighted for services/ time & attendance billing, or within the language services industry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and coordinate with internal team members as needed.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Ability to deliver invoices per the client's specifications and troubleshoot any issues or questions into tailored solutions providing top-notch customer service.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met while also assisting other team members as needed.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements or variables as they arise.
  • Tools & Technology: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Accounting or related field.


*The hourly rate for this position is $17-$19 per hour commensurate with experience*
