Global Capital Markets (GCM) division of Wilmington Trust provides Trustee and Agency Services to Capital Market bond Issuers, Public Finance, Project Finance transactions , acting as Escrow Agent for Mergers & Acquisition transactions and Loan Agency services for Syndicated Loans. In addition, GCM provides complete suite of services of Entity management to Issuers. The current position requires to support business control functions of GCM business and specifically manage Audit findings by finding suitable Remediation action solution working closely with owners of product /issues and close the Findings successfully.

This position is based out of Wilmington, Delaware and requires hybrid work arrangement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage Remediation projects by discussing with owners of issues and getting required evidence to create response package by reviewing responses and editing suitably in presentable form for submitting to Examiner.
- Perform root cause analysis of audit Findings working with stake holders and get result of closure within expected deadline
- Align Key Risk Indicators to Findings and close the Finding as soon as possible.
- Organize meeting with Product Leaders/relationship Managers to brief about upcoming audits and prepare agenda and meeting schedule working closely with internal Regulatory Affairs team
- Organize monthly meetings with Product Leaders/ Relationship Managers to go over monthly Reports of key control metrics and track closure of open items.
- Work closely with Technology and Change Management teams for automation and creation of required Reports and improve the processes of controls.
- Support any other Business Control tasks as and when required.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting OR in lieu of degree, a combined minimum of 6 years higher education and/or work experience to include a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Exam Management experience - working with auditors and examiners
- Corporate Governance, Project management/remediation experience
- Ability to multi-task and experience interacting with all levels of personnel and/or ability to build relationships with management and business partners
Education and skills Preferred
- Prior Corporate Trust experience - CCTS or CTMC
- Experience of scheduling and coordinating meetings and circulating minutes and follow up action
- PowerBi/Tableau knowledge, Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Experience of scheduling and coordinating meetings and circulating minutes and follow up action
- Exam Management experience - working with auditors and examiners
- Corporate Governance, Project management/remediation experience
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
