Overall responsibility includes; Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Training & Development, as well as the overall successful operation of the store. Potential candidates will share a common enthusiasm for our product line of modern sports equipment and fashion, and have a strong desire to dedicate themselves to their own rapid development.
Detailed responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Routinely monitors scheduling and payroll to ensure compliance with our wage and hour rules and with all relevant federal, state and local requirements.
-Provides adequate training and development of entire floor staff to meet sales goals.
-Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by consistently emphasizing and requiring excellent service.
-Monitors controllable expenses to optimize profitability.
-Maintains store conditions in accordance with our high standards of cleanliness and mandatory merchandising principles.
-Requires highest standards regarding all Loss Prevention, HR Matters and cash handling requirements thereby maintaining a low shrink profile.
-And other duties assigned by management and supervision.
Candidate Requirements under consideration:
-General sports knowledge and/or familiarity
-Proven or explained successful relevant experience as a retail manager
-Experience or familiarity with POS systems, KRONOS or Time and Attendance Systems
-Proven or explained leadership skills
-Proven or explained customer service skills
-Proven or explained exceptional organizational abilities
-Proven or explained exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
-Must possess at least a high school diploma or an equivalent certified proficiency
-Subject to E-Verify
-Due to federally required standards, must be 21 years of age or older.
