This Reliability Engineer is responsible for the practical and strategic direction of maintenance personnel throughout CCM operations via implementation of various tools and best practices with intent to maximize asset utilization. The Central Engineering team supports the business through excellence in project management and engineering services for capital investments. Safety and sustainability initiatives drive many of the automation projects which will further propel Carlisle's success in the market. The culture is collaborative and innovative with minimal boundaries. Equivalent support will also be provided to local and regional engineering resources at CCM operations when needed.
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:
- Ongoing assessment of CCM plant maintenance effectiveness and utilization of available "tools" to administer necessary services.
- Ability to understand and interpret data to work with plants to drive improvement activities and root cause analysis of repeat failures.
- Works with Corporate Engineering, Plant Engineering, and other Functional teams to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
- Participates in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans. Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers.
- Administration of existing CMMS software including maintenance, upgrades, implementation at additional CCM entities without the tool, training as deemed necessary to maximize use and effectiveness
- Advocacy of predictive and preventive maintenance programs, and use of CMMS system to make better maintenance management decisions
- Determination of, and advocacy for topical training for craftsman, operators, resident engineers to improve on site servicing of the operation
- Lead/manage specific projects following standard project management protocol established by Engineering Dept. This shall include: project schedule, budget tracking, coordination meetings, communications, documentation, close-out, etc.*
- Determine and advise how to utilize new technologies to measure and monitor for optimal equipment operating conditions
- Comprehensive understanding of fundamental utility and production equipment/systems
- Data analysis techniques that can include:
- Statistical Process Control
- Reliability modeling and prediction
- Fault Tree Analysis
- Weibull Tree Analysis
- Six Sigma (6σ) Methodology
- Root-cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCA, RCFA)
- Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)
- Equivalency: Degree or relevant certification in a Technical Field with a minimum of 10 years work experience in a technical or skilled trade with relevance to this position (ex. manufacturing maintenance, operations management, engineering technician, etc.). Preferred candidates will have relevant SMRP exposure; and will be obligated to regularly pursue additional topical education and certifications through this organization.
- Experience: 8+years working in an industrial, manufacturing, or equivalent technical field.
