American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and subsequently continues to be an exciting and fast-growing segment. To maintain success, accelerating sales and driving profitable charge volume growth are critical for the organization. The Sales Enablement, Pricing and Transformation (SPT) team within the Commercial Business Enablement organization is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives. Our team’s vision is passionate about being essential architects of growth, profitability, and operating efficiency for GCS. SPT’s mission is to power GCS growth through the provision of informed pricing, sales enablement support and process improvement.

The Transformation and Automation (TAG) team within SPT, is an engine serving GCS tapping into expertise in Automation, Process Engineering, Data Analytics & Advanced Project Management to deliver critical business solutions that drive direct financial impact, improved efficiency, and increased safeguards for customers. We are looking for an upbeat, servant leader, Release Train Engineer to help drive these GCS products.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Lead Program Increment (PI) process: capturing requirements, coordinating meetings, partner with product, engineering, and other customer teams.
  • Run prioritization process.
  • Handle the Rally process (Capabilities, Features, User Stories, acceptance criteria process)
  • Facilitate solution alignment discussions.
  • Assist the team in Agile standard methodologies: Scrum ceremonies, drive the backlog, raise blockers, handle risks, develop team capacity needs, etc.
  • Assist in driving roadmaps.
  • Track and supervise execution via reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Program/Project Management experience.
  • Experience facilitating Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver solutions.
  • Current/active SAFe SA/RTE certification, Additional Agile certifications a plus.
  • Ability to turn ideas into action by persuasion, gaining support and dedication from others; mobilizing people to act, using creative approaches to empower others to meet goals.
  • Proficiency in breaking down work into manageable parts, assessing the priority and time required to complete each part; taking initiative to prioritize tasks related to organizational goals; developing detailed plans, completing tasks in logical order, and delivering work products on time while monitoring progress against goals.
  • Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adjust the message, style, and tone of a communication to accommodate a variety of audiences.
  • Efficiency with influencing outcomes and people without relying on reporting lines or organizational hierarchy.
  • Ability to quickly create relationships and build trust with internal and external collaborators.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to navigate the AMEX ecosystem
  • Experience working with commercial card products
  • Solid understanding of automation products

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
