Salesforce Inc. seeks Release Manager in New York, NY:

Job Duties : Maintain responsibility for the continuous delivery of application releases supporting mission critical services used by the world's largest enterprises. Leverage product management practices to define and program management practices to lead innovative initiatives focused on customer experience, scalability, continuous delivery, and team development. Utilize agile methodologies to plan, coordinate, and lead deployments of major product releases, weekly patches, and daily changes in a SaaS environment. Act as a Multiplier, and constantly look for ways to make other teams successful, understanding that the success and productivity of the hundreds of scrum teams is critical to enabling continuous change. Deliver frequent, high-quality releases that benefit our customers and partners and motivate the engineers. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements : (1) Technical Program Management; (2) Project Management; (3) Product Development; (4) Agile Methodologies; (5) SDLC; (6) SaaS Environment; (7) SCRUM; (8) DevOps; and (9) Software Release Management. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,768 to $227,700.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,768 to $227,700.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,768 to $227,700.

For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,768 to $227,700.
