Cincinnati Re is currently seeking an individual to join the analytics team to lead and support treaty Reinsurance Pricing. A strong quantitative and property/casualty reinsurance background is required. The pay range for this position is $160,000.00-$270,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and exams passed. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:
- provide leadership and guidance to other actuaries and actuarial students on the team
- lead the actuarial pricing support for casualty and professional lines treaties. This includes working with the reinsurance underwriters to analyze contracts, develop loss costs, quantify the impact of contract features, ascertain capital requirements, and provide an understanding of the key risk drivers
- perform actuarial pricing including experience rating and exposure rating of subject business
- perform stochastic and financial modeling of transactions
- provide assistance in the development and maintenance of pricing models
- close collaboration with members of the broader reinsurance team
- meet externally with current and prospective clients
- participate in special projects as needed.
Be equipped with:
- must be motivated, self-directed, and have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong organizational, time and project management experience
- availability for travel for internal meetings (4-8 trips per year)
- availability for travel to meetings at client locations (2-6 trips per year)
- high proficiency using Microsoft Excel, experience with SQL Server and VBA a plus.
- preferably in Cincinnati, OH.
- may also consider remote location, provided candidate is able to travel for internal and external meetings.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial lines pricing; casualty and professional lines experience preferred
- 5+ years of experience in property/casualty Reinsurance Pricing
- a bachelor's degree
- credentialed property and casualty actuary (ACAS or FCAS).
