Job description

1.0 FTE; (40 hrs/week) opportunity as a Therapies Support team member to join our rehabilitation team of inpatient and outpatient physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. This position is based at the St. Paul hospital campus location- 200 University Avenue East St. Paul, MN 55101.

8:00am to 4:30pm
8:00am to 4:30pm
9:45am to 6:15pm
9:00am to 5:30pm
9:15am - 5:45pm
**Weekend Rotation is Required - One Saturday per month 8:00am to 1:00pm (includes business closure day coverage).
This position exists to provide support to the provision of therapy services before, during, and after the appointment through maintenance of the environment of care, administrative support, and patient care assistance.
Compensation & Benefits:
The starting rate of pay is $19/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. Major Challenges:

  • Manages shifting priorities in a dynamic environment to ensure timely and effective response to patient and organization needs.
  • Completes of a wide variety of administrative and clinical support tasks, work direction from multiple staff/supervisors, frequently and rapidly changing needs.
  • Communicates with numerous internal and external customers.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using of Microsoft office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a highly dynamic team environment
  • American Heart Association BLS for HealthCare workers or obtained within 90 days of hire

Preferred:
  • Advanced training/ education
  • Experience in healthcare environment
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
