Education: Bachelor of Science, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Licensure: License and/or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist from the Department of Health, Division of Professional Regulation, State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. Access to reliable transportation in order to service off site locations.
Experience: Experience in physical disabilities setting with relevant field work/work experience preferred.

* Occupational Therapy theory, assessment and treatment techniques; task analysis; ability to develop therapeutic relationship with a variety of patients; basic splint fabrication skills
* Skills in organization and priority setting.
* Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with peers and other disciplines.
* Ability to utilize sound interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and caregivers and demonstrating sensitivity to age, spiritual, and cultural diversity of customers.
* Ability to instruct patients, caregivers and their families

Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching and reaching. Physical ability involves pushing, pulling and lifting more than 30 lbs.
