Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Rehab Nurse to join our team. The Rehab Nurse plays a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing rehabilitation due to illness, injury, or surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing background, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to patient-centric care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions and create individualized care plans based on their rehabilitation needs.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and physicians to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress in their rehabilitation journey.
- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation procedures, recovery expectations, and at-home care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and implement rehabilitation programs.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients to enhance their recovery process.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license and completion of an accredited nursing program (RN or LPN, depending on position requirements).
- Previous experience in rehabilitation nursing or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to assess and prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic approach and the ability to provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, equipment, and procedures.
