About The Role:

We are seeking an innovative Subject Matter Expert in occupational licensing, to join our regulatory team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience earned working with, or from within, regulatory bodies in the subject areas of licensing/permitting, complaints, investigations, compliance/discipline, or governance. In this role you will collaborate internally with the Thentia teams and externally with our regulatory clientele to provide education and thought-leadership regarding the unique challenges faced by the industry. You will assist Thentia’s sales and implementation teams in delivering world-class consulting services to improve our client’s regulatory effectiveness, efficiency, and adoption of our leading Government Technology Software as a Service solution. In addition, you will work within a team of regulatory experts to position Thentia as a global thought leader in regulatory excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Go to Market Teams to drive strategy, support demonstrations to clients, and provide expertise in Thentia’s response to potential customer RFPs
  • Provide Regulatory Subject Matter Expert representative support during business development opportunities, advancing the offer and creating revenue and profitability growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and client advocate during onboarding engagements both remotely and on-site, to shape the strategy of customers.
  • Liaise with all Thentia internal teams to promote the value SaaS solutions can provide government technology and regulatory clients.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the in-house product team to develop strategic product goals and requirements that align with evolving regulatory needs.
  • Participate in design walkthroughs with architects, designers, developers, and clients.
  • Foster high value client relationships by demonstrating a clear understanding of the client business and identifying the appropriate solutions to address the client’s unique need.
  • Maintain up-to-date regulatory knowledge through research and continuing education opportunities.
  • Provide education about regulatory concepts within Thentia teams.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Solution Engineering teams for ongoing project development.
  • Undertake in-depth analysis of customer experiences and solutions to create comprehensive case studies.
  • Engage with thought leaders in the global regulatory community.
  • Participate in speaking engagements and encourage customer dialogue for the purpose of increasing the visibility of Thentia in the marketplace.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory verticals including:
  • Professional Regulation
  • Professional Licensing
  • Business Licensing
  • Compliance, Enforcement, Monitoring & Discipline
  • Policy Management
  • Direct, front-line and leadership experience working within regulatory agencies, would be ideal.
  • Experience implementing government technology information systems, would be ideal.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel when required (up to 35%) within Canada and internationally.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand regulatory requirements and processes and translate these into technical requirements discussions.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, highly resourceful, and self-directed
