  • Provide tactical support to R&D, encompassing all regulatory aspects for both innovations and existing products.
  • Spearhead early-stage regulatory assessments for all formulas, ingredients, and innovations across our international markets.
  • Oversee external partners providing regulatory insights, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with our standards.

Innovation Compliance:

  • Direct comprehensive reviews as the final regulatory gatekeeper for all branding materials, from product labels to digital assets.
  • Champion product safety testing methods and ensure third-party safety assessments meet our benchmarks.
  • Oversee and verify compliance of third-party ingredient suppliers, safeguarding brand integrity.
  • Manage, curate, and maintain crucial documentation and registrations across EU and US markets, offering support to our global units as needed.

Global Representation

  • Serve as Dermalogica's voice, ensuring alignment with Unilever Prestige Regulatory Affairs.
  • Facilitate a seamless flow of regulatory insights and updates between Brand and the global network.
  • Instigate and refine global regulatory summaries and lead issue management on regulatory affairs for the Brand.
  • Foster and enhance relations with both internal stakeholders and external collaborators.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in the Sciences required; M.S. in Chemistry, Biosciences, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or equivalent preferred.
  • 5-8 years of regulatory experience in the Cosmetic/Personal Care industry.
  • Comprehensive expertise in managing regulatory requirements for personal care innovation and ensuring in-market product compliance.
  • Proficiency in US and EU markets is crucial, alongside familiarity with International product registrations and labeling requirements. Experience with China Domestic a plus.
  • Experience in the Skincare category is preferred, including past experience with OTC products.
